My Skills

A Cloud Engineer and Technologist with almost 20 years experience in IT Services. I started my career as an IT Application Support Consultant supporting Windows and Unix OS and then moved into an Infrastructure Engineer role expanding my knowledge into Virtualisation, Storage and Storage Fabric Networking. I eventually decided to specialise in Private Cloud technology, with my main area of expertise being the vSphere suite of Private Cloud products from VMware. More recently I have expanded my knowledge into the Public Cloud space focusing on Amazon AWS technologies and am planning on exploring the Public Cloud space further to work towards specialising in Hybrid Cloud Solutions.

My work spans application migration to cloud, data centre consolidation, and both P2V (Physical to Virtual) and V2V (Virtual to Virtual) transitions. I am regularly entrusted with high-stakes, technically intricate assignments involving multi-tenant Private Cloud environments and hybrid infrastructure.

I specialise in end-to-end engineering, deployment, support, disaster recovery, and infrastructure automation. My technical breadth also includes platform architecture, performance optimisation, and capacity planning. Public Cloud and DevOps
